Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to be involved in all aspects of the accounting process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account reconciliations on a regular basis
- Perform monthly closing transactions, trial balance, and journal entries
- Reconcile monthly credit card and bank statements
- Maintain Auto records, registrations, insurance cards, and other required documents
- Compile tax filing supporting documentation for outside accountant
- Some property management/tenant interaction and follow up
- Ad hoc projects
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with strong follow through
