Description

Delivery Drivers are an integral part of the Piedmont Propane team. Tasks include:

•

Propane Delivery: Safely operate a propane delivery truck to deliver propane to various locations, including residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.

•

Loading and Unloading: Load propane onto the delivery truck from storage tanks and unload it at customer locations, ensuring proper procedures are followed.

•

Equipment Inspection: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck and related equipment, ensuring everything is in safe working order.

•

Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, address their needs, and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

•

Route Management: Manage delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely and effective deliveries.

•

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel levels, trucks, and safety issues.

•

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to propane handling, transport, and delivery.

•

Additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

•

Ability to work full time

•

Must be 21 years of age or older

•

Experience preferred, but willing to train

•

CDL Class B License is required, but will help obtain

•

Tanker/Hazmat/Airbrake Endorsement required, but will help obtain
