Backhoe Operator

Mears is looking for Backhoe Operators with valid CDL licenses. In this role, you'll join field crews to safely install or replace underground utilities projects, working directly under the Foreman and Superintendent. The position involves outdoor work, operating various construction equipment, and assisting craft workers with their assigned tasks.

Essential Duties:

Key Qualifications

+ Standing, walking, for extended periods + Repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds + Repeatedly kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching + Exposure to loud work environments + Work outdoors in a range of conditions, including hot and cold weather. + Travel as needed to job sites + Move about, in, and around construction vehicles
