Backhoe Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating backhoe equipment on oil field sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of various machinery and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.

Duties

- Operate backhoe equipment for digging, trenching, and grading tasks on oil field sites.

- Perform loader operation and work with machinery as needed.

- Utilize grader operation techniques to ensure proper site grading and leveling.

- Collaborate with other operators and personnel to coordinate tasks effectively.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

- Assist in commercial driving duties when required, including transporting equipment to job sites.

Skills

- Proficient in backhoe operation with a solid understanding of oilfield site practices.

- Experience with loader operation, machinery, and bulldozer functions is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and tanker operations.

- Strong ability to dig efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

- Capability to perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure reliability.

- Valid commercial driving license is mandatory.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
