Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive restoration and repair, demonstrating expertise in various techniques and tools necessary for high-quality vehicle maintenance. This role involves working on a range of vehicles, performing repairs, and ensuring that each vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

•

Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and body filling.

•

Utilize hand tools and equipment to restore vehicles to their original condition.

•

Conduct auto estimating to assess damage and determine repair costs.

•

Execute vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring optimal performance.

•

Apply airless paint spraying techniques for finishing touches on repaired vehicles.

•

Buff and polish vehicles to achieve a flawless finish.

•

Handle auto glass replacement or repair as required.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.

•

Keep work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

•

Familiarity with auto restoration processes and techniques.

•

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
