Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on all facilities, machinery, and equipment according to Company preventative maintenance program
•Perform preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment per company's preventative maintenance program
•Assist with repairing and/or replacing broken or damaged equipment as required
•Document maintenance activities by means of manual documents, computer data entry, and equipment identification
•Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly condition
•Notify Supervisor of equipment irregularities, investigate repetitive failures and recommend solutions.
•Assist with emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performsscheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service times
•Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production machines
•Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
•Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
•Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Minimum Requirements
•High school diploma or GED
•Mechanical, electrical and mathematical aptitude
•Understanding of proper use of hand and power tools
•Familiarity with rigging and lifting devices and crane and forklift operations
•Ability and willingness to learn coupled with a drive to improve
•Ability to travel to other NW Indiana facilities
•Ability to adjust work schedule as needed for increased production or scheduled maintenance outages
•Familiarity with OSHA industrial standards
•Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
