Are you passionate about energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability and ready to help shape the future of energy? Join Eversource’s award-winning Energy Efficiency team and work directly with large manufacturing and commercial customers to drive impactful energy-saving and decarbonization projects. As an Associate Energy Efficiency Consultant, you’ll play a key support role in helping to reduce energy use, lower emissions, and improve operational efficiency at large Eversource customer facilities.

What You’ll Do

•

Support Project Development: Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to identify and implement energy efficiency solutions tailored to manufacturing environments.

•

Deliver Technical Expertise: Review and support complex projects involving engineering analysis, energy modeling, and emerging technologies.

•

Drive Customer Engagement: Facilitate technical assessments, planning charrettes, and long-term energy strategies for key accounts.

•

Coordinate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, marketing, regulatory, and sales to ensure seamless project execution and compliance.

•

Track Results: Manage project documentation, budgeting, invoicing, and performance metrics to ensure savings goals are met.

What You Bring Education:

•

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

Experience:

•

One (1) plus years in energy efficiency, engineering, technical sales, or project management.

•

Familiarity with industrial and manufacturing systems (HVAC, process equipment, infrastructure) is a plus.

•

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Skills:

•

Ability to interpret and apply energy efficiency technologies.

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

•

Project management and organizational skills.

Certifications:

•

CEM or PE preferred, but not required.
