Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Supervisor to support the Operations Supervisors in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the warehouse. The Assistant Supervisor will also take charge in the absence of the Operations Supervisors, ensuring continuity in leadership and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist Operations Supervisors in managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory management, logistics, and workflow coordination.
•Supervise and lead warehouse staff to maintain productivity and safety standards.
•Act as the point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the Operations Supervisors.
•Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
•Assist in training and mentoring team members to improve skills and efficiency.
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
•Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts.
•Other tasks as trained and qualified to do.
Qualifications:
•Current warehouse team member with minimum one (1) year of relevant experience.
•Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
•Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Familiarity with warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory management systems.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
•Flexibility to work varying shifts as required by operational needs.
