Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to lead our team in delivering outstanding service and driving sales in our Catholic Art and Gifts store. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for our products and services coupled with proven retail management skills.

Responsibilities:

•

Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.

•

Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

•

Ensure the store maintains a visually appealing and organized environment that reflects the values of our customer base.

•

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.

•

Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and expenses, and take appropriate actions to optimize results.

•

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and our purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise.

•

Stay informed about trends in Catholic art and gifts, as well as developments in the retail industry, to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.

•

Uphold company policies and procedures, including those related to employee conduct, safety, and security.

Qualifications:

•

Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team.

•

Understanding of our products and how they are used.

•

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to excel.

•

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

•

Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and point-of-sale systems.

•

Flexibility to work weekends, as needed.
