Assistant Project Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing power plant projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with client specifications, budgets, and timelines. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Duties

- Execute inspections on power plants and train site fitters for inspections and measurements.

- • Conduct thermographic surveys on Power plants determine the degradation and future problems in

- the life of the joint and adjacent duct system. Prepare thermographic reports and analysis to support

- Engineering and order processing team to offer best technical support. Offer continuous

- improvement and development of equipment design(s) and solutions.

- • Technical review and interpretation of request for quotations received from prospective clients.

* * *

- • Technical support to determine upgrading of materials, composition, fixing systems or internal parts - can give an important impact on longer life and more durable expansion joints.

- • Coordinate & support Site fitters to source the scope components such as bolts, nozzles, clamp - bands etc.

* * *

- • Collaborate and communicate with Project manager, Project Engineers, and site teams, providing - clear and technical advice to ensure everyone understands the technical installation process.

- • Ensure all OSHA regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and always maintained;

- record and file safety issues and maintain safety statistics on site activity; ensure that company third

- party accreditations are obtained and maintained.

- • Collaborate & clearly communicate with both Sales & Site team to ensure everyone understands - technical proposals.

* * *

- • Identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements in processes and order - processing and QA/QC.

* * * *

- Strong background in construction management and project management principles.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Familiarity with construction site experience and safety protocols.

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.

- Strong analytical skills for construction estimating and budget management.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams including contractors, architects, and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,172.95 - $60,000.00 per year
