Join our growing team as Assistant Manager, where you’ll manage key accounts and cultivate new client relationships in the specialty steel and metal industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in production, sales and troubleshooting activities

- Support and assist in reporting data for monthly management review

- Build and maintain relationships with key contacts

- Responsible for reviewing performance of all direct reports

- Understand customer application to provide technical guidance and value-added options

- Coordinating with operations and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment

- Ensure team member training is maintained and adherence to company policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years as assistant manager, preferably in metal distribution - 3+ years sales experience, preferably in metal distribution

- Knowledge of specialty metals and hot rolled mild steel is an asset.

- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

- Self-motivated, dependable, and team oriented.

- Excellent communication, follow-up and relationship-building skills
