The Assistant C-Store Manager reports directly to the C-Store Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Vitus retail store, maintaining required inventory levels and ensuring adequate staffing for efficient operations. The position requires basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer service skills that serve to promote the business.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Visual Acuity: must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner. The noise level in the work environment is usually quite to moderate and may be loud on occasion. Work is usually done in a convenience store setting and sometimes out-of-doors, sometimes in extreme weather conditions, requiring the use of personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to; a reflective vest, steel toed boots, safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. This position supervises non-exempt staff.
