BC Hydro Properties Planning & Asset Management (PAM) is responsible for long-term planning and asset management
for BC Hydro’s corporate and field office real estate across British Columbia. PAM also develops and manages the capital
investment plans for the Properties’ managed building portfolio, ensuring the effective and efficient planning and
optimization of capital and maintenance investments. We ensure that Properties 10 year capital plans align with BC Hydro
and Properties' strategic direction and reflect financial and resource constraints, business and operational risks, and
stakeholder business requirements.
The project manager manages and assists planning and asset Management responsibilities including the developing and
enhancing asset management practices/processes/strategies for Properties managed facilities, conducting risk/value
assessment, providing recommendations, producing facility asset plan when and where required, and managing Properties
Asset Owner Compliance under BC Hydro’s Safety Programs (e.g. Asbestos, PCB).
