AltaGas - Senior Manager, Asset Management
Our Asset Management team is looking for a Sr. Manager to join the group who will lead a team focused on our Alberta assets. Reporting to the Director, Asset Management, you will be joining a team focused on origination, providing value to our current customers, and collaborating successfully with other groups in the company. In this role, you will have a team of Commercial Representatives and Commercial Analysts reporting to you.
You will:
•Leading a high-performing team responsible for managing strategic customer base with focus on sustaining and growing facility throughput and cash-flow over the long-term;
•Being an originator! Identify value creating opportunities for our processing facilities, NGL connections, and lead commercial negotiations to drive deals and projects to successful execution;
•Working collaboratively with AltaGas’ suite of commercial offerings to identify, evaluate, and execute solutions for our customers while increasing margins and asset utilization;
•Responsible for annual budgets and strategic plan for assigned areas of responsibility within the Midstream group, while supporting the long-range planning process;
•Building, maintaining and growing key relationships with our strategic customers and internal stakeholders;
•Working with internal stakeholders such as Finance and Operations to continually optimize and reduce operating costs and improving the bottom line;
•Mentoring the team and leading complex negotiations in support of short and long-term gas processing contracts;
•Providing leadership and guidance to direct reports and other members of the team;
•Maintain a strong understanding of current industry news and events that affect natural gas liquids, natural gas, and crude oil markets and their potential impacts on AltaGas and to communicate the same internally.
You have:
•Bachelor's Degree Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Engineering preferred
•15+ years relevant experience in the energy industry with extensive Midstream knowledge required
•Prior experience in contract governance, specifically Gas Gathering & Processing Agreements required
•Understanding of Natural Gas Liquids and Natural Gas processing and markets preferred
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, PowerBI required
•Motivated individual able to contribute both individually and as a team player with multiple priorities and tasks in a face paced environment
•Strong attention to detail, proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines
•Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
