About This Job

Duties

•

Operate on the asphalt paver making normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finished cross section of asphalt material via screed extensions.

•

Partner with other crew members to apply asphalt per plan specifications and perform other positions as instructed by crew foreman to ensure daily schedules are met.

•

Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working environment.

•

Must be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time shift changes. Overtime required. Out of town work may be required.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically asphalt screed machinery

•

Strong knowledge of paving techniques

•

Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
