Job Overview

This is for the driven, customer focused construction professional! We are seeking an Asbestos Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely removing asbestos-containing materials from single family homes and small commercial buildings. This role requires attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

- Conduct asbestos abatement procedures following regulatory guidelines (OSHA, OEPA, EPA, NIOSH, NESHAP)

- Safely remove, encapsulate, or enclose asbestos materials

- Set up containment areas to prevent the spread of asbestos fibers

- Dispose of asbestos waste in accordance with regulations

- Perform air monitoring and clearance testing after abatement procedures

- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements

- Experience in asbestos abatement and removal

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to asbestos handling

- Excellent communication skills

- Understanding of building restoration processes involving asbestos materials
