Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Masking Technician to join our team at Aerospace Aluminum Processing LLC. This role is responsible for preparing aluminum parts for painting by accurately applying masking materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will ensure proper surface preparation, follow detailed work instructions, and maintain high-quality standards.

This position will be for evening schedule: 2nd shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Shift differential pay for afternoon shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous experience a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move in excess of 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be able to pass respirator training and requirements.
