Apprentice Mechanic Gas Compression Refrigeration

Torque Mechanical Services is seeking a qualified service technician apprentice for our Red Deer location. The permanent position will require field and shop work in the Red Deer area.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with servicing and maintenance and rebuilding of natural gas screw compressors, rotary compressors, refrigeration compressors, equipment and plants.

primarily shop work with some field work

Requirements include:

Millwright / Heavy-Duty /Industrial Refrigeration/Automotive or Machinist registered 1st year to 4th year.

First Aid and H2S

Clean drivers abstract

Strong mechanical background

Positive Attitude

Ability to work in a dynamic fast pace environment

Follow company safe work policies

Mechanical experience an asset.
