We are seeking dedicated Apprentice and Journeyperson Electricians to join our solar construction team. The ideal candidates will have experience or interest in industrial, commercial, or solar electrical systems, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.
Apprentice applicants should be motivated to learn and develop their skills in solar electrical installation. Journeyperson applicants should bring proven field experience and a solid understanding of NEC requirements, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
These roles involve installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical components on solar construction sites and industrial facilities, ensuring all work meets NEC standards and follows technical schematics. Team members will support ongoing solar projects through electrical installation, accurate blueprint and solar layout reading, and the safe use of hand and power tools.
Both levels play a critical role in supporting high-quality solar installations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and top-tier workmanship across all electrical operations.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on solar construction sites, including commercial and industrial solar projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, solar array layouts, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify proper functioning of solar electrical systems.
- Work with low-voltage and high-voltage DC/AC wiring in accordance with NEC standards and solar industry requirements.
- Collaborate with construction teams— including frame carpentry when needed— to support seamless solar project execution.
- Adhere to all electrical and site safety protocols on solar construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Troubleshoot electrical and solar system issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

- Willingness to learn NEC standards, solar installation practices, and company safety procedures.
- Ability to use or learn hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Reliable, eager to learn, and open to direction from Journeypersons and supervisors.
- Proven experience in industrial, commercial, or solar electrical work, with a valid Journeyperson license.
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, solar schematics, low-voltage/high-voltage systems, and construction site safety.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, PV testing equipment, and troubleshooting solar electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret solar project plans, technical drawings, and system layout diagrams accurately.
- Experience on construction sites, preferably with solar installation or solar electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with framing carpentry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
