Job Overview

CryptoTherm, a leader in the cooling and heat transfer manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their electrical career to gain hands-on experience in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical systems, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn from our electrical team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities / Duties:

- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

- Pull wire, install conduit, and mount electrical panels and components under supervision.

- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems.

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working on-site or in the shop.

- Support journeyman electricians in day-to-day tasks and take initiative to develop skills.

- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift.

Skills / Requirements:

- Registered Apprentice is a requirement.

- Basic knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and safety practices.

- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn on the job.

- Ability to follow directions and communicate clearly with team members.

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
