Where Will You Work
Mosaic Potash Esterhazy is an underground potash mine located 90 kilometers south of Yorkton. Its split between three mine sites - K1, K2 and K3 which will be the largest, and one of the world’s most competitive underground potash mines in the world. Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

What will you do?
Day To Day Duties Will Include
•Lead pioneering engineering projects aimed at improving Mosaic's potash and phosphate mining processes. This includes designing entirely new methods and technologies to enhance operations.
•Conduct comprehensive studies on emerging technologies with the potential to transform mining, mineral processing, and product development.
•Build productive relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations staff, engineering personnel, and functional groups, to exchange insights and foster collaboration.
•Complete feasibility studies on new technology that could provide a step change improvement to aspects of mining, mineral processing, and product development.
•Actively engage with various levels of personnel, including operations, engineering, and functional groups to share learnings and build collaborative networks
•Participate in and oversee research initiatives, both in laboratory settings and full-scale industrial operations, ensuring results align with Mosaic's strategic goals.
•Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies
What do you need for this role?
•Second year or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electronic Systems Engineer, Industrial Systems Engineer, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Mining Engineer or Process Engineer.
•72% Percentage or higher.
•1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
•Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
•Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
•Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
•Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
•Basic computer skills are required.
•Experience working in a team environment is a must.
•Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
•Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.
•Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
