Job Responsibility: Responsible for design, coding, implementing, and maintaining complex application enhancements and fixes.

Job Duties:

•

Provides status updates on a weekly basis.

•

Provides technical expertise in Oracle Application and related tools.

•

Designs and codes custom report/forms/procedural language/structured query language (pl/sql) enhancements / maintenance.

•

Troubleshoots complex technical problems called into Helpdesk.

•

Assists the team in analyzing and recommending problem resolutions.

•

Ensures that proper tools and procedures are available for efficient job performance.

•

Monitors individual project / task progress and completion.

•

Works with business users to develop detail design program specifications for complex business processes.

•

Handles the implementation of application enhancements and fixes.

•

Participates in coverage of 800 number during lunch, after-hours, weekends and early mornings.

•

Serves as liaison between end users and ITS Support team, Database Administration and Network Operations.

•

Assists other ITS personnel as required.

•

Provide status updates on a weekly basis.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

•

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

•

Minimum of 5 years application development experience

•

Strong knowledge of programming languages and software, specifically pl/sql and Oracle programming tools

•

Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

•

Ability to multi-task and attention to detail

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•
Strong analytical skills

•

Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into software specification
