Job Description Summary

Responsible for underwriting new deals and may or may not continue to oversee the asset following deal closure. Underwriters who continue to oversee the asset following deal closure are distinct from Portfolio Managers because of their participation in the origination of the deal itself. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

- Responsible for driving the wing-to-wing risk assessment process (underwriting, structuring, closing, funding, and managing investment transactions) for new Global investment opportunities in support of GE equipment sales.

- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

- Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.

- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

- Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and one year of relevant experience

- Or, a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in similar roles.

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

The base pay range for this position is $82,000 to $105,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a variable compensation incentive of 15%. This posting is expected to remain open until at least September 12th.
