Job Title: Air Quality Monitoring Specialist at Trihydro Corporation
Location: Tyler, Texas
Job Summary:
Based in the Tyler, TX area, you will join our Air and Process Services Team, assisting with air quality monitoring for optical gas imaging (OGI) and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) programs. In this role, you will conduct regulatory surveys and contribute to written reports.
This full-time position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with up to 50% regional travel. If you excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform air quality regulatory and compliance analyses, including optical gas imaging (OGI).
•Develop project management skills through hands-on experience.
•Conduct field regulatory surveys and prepare detailed written reports.
•Support compliance planning and facility audits.
•Assist with marketing and business development efforts, including preparing technical proposals and cost estimates.
•Primarily field-based role requiring extended periods of walking, standing, and working at heights.
•May work outdoors in various weather conditions.
•This role involves approximately 40-45 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
•0-3 years of relevant experience in the environmental industry.
•Strong technical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team of geologists, engineers, and scientists to meet client expectations and deadlines.
•Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related applications.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and commitment to safe operations.
•Willingness to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices.
•Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
•Proven commitment to workplace safety and an acceptable employment history.
•Basic mechanical aptitude and a strong independent work ethic.
