Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Aerial Fiber Lineman to install, maintain, and repair overhead fiber optic cable systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights, knowledge of aerial construction practices, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and performance of telecommunication networks.

Key Responsibilities:
•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot aerial fiber optic cables, including strand and lash work.
•Climb poles and operate aerial lifts to perform work at heights.
•Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to place and secure cables.
•Read and interpret work orders, engineering plans, and fiber schematics.
•Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company standards, and industry regulations (OSHA, NESC, etc.).
•Perform pole transfers, cable relocations, and storm damage repairs.
•Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and contractors.
•Complete documentation and reports on completed work.

Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
•Minimum 1–2 years of experience in aerial fiber or utility line work.
•Proficient in climbing poles and using aerial lift equipment.
•Familiarity with lashing machines, strand tensioning, and fiber splicing (a plus).
•Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
•Ability to work in various weather conditions and travel to job sites as required.

•Comfortable working at heights up to 50 feet or more.
•Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and bending for extended periods.
