Newmont North America operations are located in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec with roles in operations, projects, and exploration. Regional Support is provided from our office in Vancouver.

Your Impact

Own and manage assigned regional categories or sub-categories by developing, implementing, and continuously improving regional category strategies, ensuring alignment with global frameworks, operational needs, supplier relationship management objectives, and overall business value delivery.

Develop and lead the regional category strategy across North America sites, including but not limited to comminution equipment & components (crushers, SAG, ball mills, etc.), separation & concentration equipment (thickeners, cyclones, etc.), leaching & adsorption systems, reagents & process chemicals, material handling & conveyance, fixed plant infrastructure, instrumentation & controls, and explosives.

Ensure category strategies address operational maintenance needs, inventory optimization, site reliability programs, and business continuity.

Establish governance mechanisms for the effective aggregation, rationalization, and effective supplier management of categories, balancing regional consolidation with site-specific needs.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $83,400-$111,000. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
