Administrative Assistant/HR/Book Keeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in accounting. The job also includes the companies HR related duties. During busy times you will help out the rest of office in assisting with answering phones and dealing with customers.

Duties

- Maintain and update financial records.

- Process invoices, payments, and payroll accurately and in a timely manner. .

- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial accounts.

- Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare financial reports as needed.

- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

- Maintain organized files for all financial documents and correspondence.

- Handle front desk responsibilities including phone etiquette and calendar management as needed.

- Proofread financial documents to ensure accuracy before submission or filing.

- Assist in answering the phone and dealing with customers when needed.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is preferred.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities.

- Familiarity with file management systems to maintain organized records.

- On the job training will be provided.

Mandatory 6 day schedule: Four 8 hour days, plus two 4 hour days, one being SAT 8-12, the second 4 hour day can be picked as well as morning/afternoon.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
