We are seeking a part-time AP Clerk to join our accounting team based in our Vancouver office. The primary focus of this role will be Expense Report and Accounts Payable functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Expense Report Processing
•Review employee-submitted expense reports for accuracy and completeness against backup receipts and company guidelines.
•Monitor expense approval workflow in the system, ensure correct approvers are tagged, and follow up on outstanding approvals.
•Collaborate with team members to ensure all assigned expense reports are reviewed and posted by weekly and month-end deadlines.
•Process weekly reimbursement payments to employees.
Accounts Payable
•Code vendor invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts and business units, ensure proper approvals are obtained.
•Organize and maintain digital records of all invoices and approvals on SharePoint.
•Prepare invoice batches for data entry in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for payment cutoffs and month-end closing.
•Monitor the AP inbox for incoming invoices, resolve vendor inquiries, and assist with vendor reconciliations and follow-ups as needed.
•2-3 years of experience in AP/booking keeping or similar accounting role essential.
•Experience in Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar accounting software is an asset.
•Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with along with interpersonal skills.
•Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Schedule: 28 hours per week, weekdays only (preferably Monday to Thursday)
Work Location: Vancouver, BC (1 in-office day per week required)
Compensation: $28.00–$30.00 per hour. The salary offered will be commensurate with relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
