Overview

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining financial records and assisting with key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general bookkeeping. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within our accounting team.

Responsibilities

•

Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

•

Generate and issue customer invoices while ensuring accurate records.

•

Assist in payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

•

Maintain accounting databases and spreadsheets using QuickBooks and Excel.

•

Review and verify invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval.

•

Support financial audits by providing necessary reports and documentation.

•

Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

•

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

•

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

•

Familiarity with QuickBooks and Excel (or willingness to learn).

•

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

•

A proactive and organized approach to handling financial data.
