Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Clerk located in Midland, TX. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for A/P and A/R functions at the local District level and potentially across Districts as we continue to grow. The role also includes using accounting software for data entry and financial reporting. The ideal candidate would work closely with the Accounting and Operations teams to ensure proper field tickets are generated, district expenditures are approved and accounted for properly, and taxes are applied correctly. We are a family-oriented, close-knit group, and hope to find a great personality match.

Key Responsibilities

•

Onboard vendors and customers, performing credit references as needed

•

Update/maintain vendor and customer files and records

•

Issuing POs for approved expenditures

•

Receiving bills, obtaining internal approvals, coding/entering for payment

•

Putting systems in place to extract data from the field necessary to complete billing

•

Generate field tickets and invoices to spec for the jobs performed based on approved pricing

•

Help code business expenses and keep chart of accounts in order

•

Sending customer statements monthly

•

Reconciling vendor statements and payments

•

Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications

•

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

•

Bookkeeping and general accounting skills

•

Strong organizational and time management abilities

•

Attention to detail and accuracy in work

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

•

Relevant previous experience or education in accounting or finance is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
