2nd (M-Th 10hr Shifts)

Plouse Precision Manufacturing, Inc. (www.plousemanufacturing.com), a full service manufacturing facility that has earned a reputation for excellence in production, seeks experienced machinists at our Highspire, PA facility. We have openings for vertical and horizontal mills, lathes with live tooling, depending on your preference and experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

- Operating Mazak, Haas, or Mori-Seiki CNC machines with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi controls.

- The ability to change and adjust tooling, make work offset adjustments, and minor program changes.

- G&M code experience is a plus.

- Experience with 4/5 axis machining preferred, but not required.

- Ability to take measurements with basic hand tools (micrometer, calipers, depth gauges, etc) and visual scope/comparator. CMM experience a plus.

- Ability to read blueprints and an understanding of basic geometric tolerancing is necessary.

- A background in Mastercam or other CAD/CAM software is would be a plus but is not required.

- Basic mathematics skills are required, being able to demonstrate a solid grasp of geometry/trigonometry will put you ahead of the pack.
