In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Sulfuric Acid Plant and Utilities Steam Plant, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and product quality. You’ll collaborate closely with team members while effectively communicating plant conditions. As you receive training and experience in other areas of our site, you’ll apply your troubleshooting skills and have the opportunity to mentor team members. - Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Sulfuric Acid Plant and Utilities Steam Plant
- Strive for continuous improvement in operation efficiency and product quality
- Will be required to be trained in the operation of other areas such as the Ammonium Sulphate Crystallization & Oxygen Plant
- The Chief Power Engineer or Power Engineer supervisor will assign other duties as required
- Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and electronic communication to relay information regarding condition of plant
- McClean Lake site
- 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
- Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
- This position is physically demanding; must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in higher than normal heat conditions (up to 40C)

Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Wednesday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.

- Must have a 2nd Class Power Engineer’s certificate, consideration will be given to those who have a 3rd class ticket with progress towards their 2nd class
- Previous involvement within a acid plant or crystallization plant is considered an asset
- Supervisory experience is preferred for future advancement within the department
- Experience with SAP, Delta-V and PI is considered an asset
- Willingness to accept additional responsibilities and project work
- Ability to work independently, and enjoys working in a team environment
- Ability to interact and develop effective working relationships with co-workers
- Problem solver who identifies problems and has excellent troubleshooting skills
- Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan North (RSN)
