1st Shift Shipping/Receiving Material Handler

Duties

- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse

- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory movements and update stock records

- Prepare products for shipment by packing, labeling, and organizing orders with precision and care

- Perform stock stocking duties to ensure inventory levels are maintained and products are readily accessible for order picking

- Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation

- Support order fulfillment processes through picking, packing, and assembling orders in accordance with customer specifications

- Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities during stock management and order processing

Qualifications

- Proven warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred

- Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks or other material handling equipment is highly desirable

- Experience with warehouse management systems (such as AS400 or similar platforms) and RF scanners is a plus

- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques

- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately in a fast-paced setting

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

- Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and stand or walk for extended periods throughout shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
