Yard Technician

Generator Source is the leading generator service provider that buys, sells, and services new and used industrial power generation equipment throughout the world.

The company is located in Brighton, Colorado and has been in the power generation industry for over 40 years. Our focus is on commercial and industrial generators for standby, prime and emergency power from top name brands like Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, Generac, MTU, and more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain and prep inventory of generators and related equipment, including but not limited to power washing/detailing, loading/unloading, painting, repairing panels and doors.

- Assist in the organization and maintenance of tools and equipment.

- Complete preventive maintenance, installing components, parts upgrades, maintain appearance, and keep records of time by task.

- Other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

- Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside in inclement weather

- Conscientious and meticulous in performing work duties as assigned

- Basic fabrication experience required

- Experience operating a forklift

- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Automotive/Electrical experience preferred
