Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, heavy equipment and vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently. The Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and effectively.

Duties

- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter.

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.

- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
