Salary Range: $65,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, highly organized Yard Operations & Logistics Manager to join our team in Sayreville, NJ. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong logistical awareness, hands-on mechanical ability, and the capacity to manage yard operations and fleet movement with minimal supervision. You'll support project execution by maintaining an efficient yard, tracking inventory, coordinating deliveries, and moving equipment between job sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee daily operations of the yard—maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
•Accept, inspect, and log all deliveries; verify quantities and condition.
•Track and manage inventory of tools, materials, and equipment.
•Load and transport equipment to and from project sites (Class A CDL required).
•Perform basic equipment loading/unloading, tie-down, and handling tasks.
•Maintain delivery and shipment records; communicate with project managers on material needs.
•Conduct light mechanical work and minor maintenance on small equipment as needed.
•Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for scheduling and logistics.
•Enforce safety protocols across all yard operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (required).
•Experience operating within a yard, warehouse, or construction logistics setting.
•Basic mechanical skills to support light equipment maintenance.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to track and manage inventory effectively.
•Ability to load equipment securely and operate loading tools (e.g., forklifts, trailers).
•Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
•Excellent communication and coordination skills.
•Familiarity with construction materials and equipment preferred.
•Experience with inventory systems or logistics software is a plus.
