Yard/Facility Maintenance - Fort Myers Area

This position is responsible for general labor duties including maintaining the building and grounds for the Waste Pro facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

. Responsibility for general building maintenance

. Responsibility for maintaining cleanliness of facility including restrooms, storage areas, garages and grounds.

. Walks property to check for repairs

. Removes environmental hazards

. Parking lot maintenance -cleans and maintains a safe parking lot and outlying property.

. Maintains the ground foliage including grass, plants and trees. Mows grass, trims trees, weeds flower beds, edges borders, and cleans gutters as needed.

. Paints specified areas as determined.

. Builds residential and commercial toters.

. Light carpentry and handyman services.

. Light mechanical assembly IE tables, chairs, desks, out door equipment, etc.

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.

. Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro.

. Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

. Ability to perform labor work

. High School education/GED or equivalent preferred

. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

. Ability to follow directions and work as a team or independently
