A Wind Turbine Generator Equipment Engineer focuses on the electrical aspects of wind turbine systems, ensuring the generators and related equipment function efficiently and reliably.

- This role involves design, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the electrical components within a wind turbine.

- Ensure the generator and other electrical systems operate correctly, maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime.

- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables

- Data driven decision making skills

- Ability to relate to Field Service Personnel to provide adequate technical support

Who You Are

- Bachelor’s - Engineering - Experience: 2+ years

- Strong understanding of the principles and operation of electrical rotating machines, including electromagnetic theory and machine dynamics.

- Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions for generator systems, using diagnostic tools such as Vibration Monitoring, Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA, ESA), and endoscopic inspections.

- Familiarity with materials and techniques used in the construction of rotating electrical machines and the manufacturing processes involved.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS)Familiarity and experience with Root Cause Analysis

- Experience with writing repair, operations, and/or maintenance procedures and specifications

- Capability to translate and communicate financial and technical business cases to gain leadership approval
