Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welding supervisor to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints accurately. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
· Practice safe work habits and follow procedures, policy and JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
· Focus efforts to work towards continuous improvement of product quality using our ISO 9000 Systems
· Work within ECCCO for shop floor scheduling, inventory, and purchased items to support manufacturing process flow.
· Take leadership responsibilities for quality, quantity and efficiency of work
done, safety, housekeeping, and production flow with their partners in the assigned work area
· Communicate information between all shifts and every work station
· Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
· Assists and educate partners to achieve continuous improvement in AIM and Gainsharing
· To co-ordinate total productive maintenance at all work stations
· Practice and have the Team actively involved in the Building Blocks to create and sustain the Pathways culture
· Willing to learn, practice, and share lean ideas with the team
· Need to certify or have already certified in Team Leader Certificate Program
· Ability to explain work assignments and alterations in work assignments to departmental employees
· Have the ability to develop people through cross training and demonstrate leadership ability
· Should be able to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds 40% of the time
