Welder

Modern Forge Indiana, a forging manufacturer, is seeking welders for our tooling department. Daily activities for welders will include but are not limited to welding maintenance and repair of forging dies, rams, sow blocks, and equipment. Experience using arc welding equipment, oxygen and acetylene tanks, burning torches, pedestal grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools is required of our welders. Successful welder candidate must be able to perform wire, mig, tig, and stick welding. Experience with flood welding a plus. Successful welder candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience welding in a manufacturing facility. This is a first shift/days position.

The successful welding candidate of any level must be able to work independently to accomplish projects and routine tasks and possess a strong work ethic.

This individual will also need to successfully pass Welding MCAW (METALCORED) and GTAW (TIG) 2G Plate test.

Welder candidate must also successfully pass background and drug screen.
