Welder/Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Welder Helper to join our team. The Welder Helper will assist welders in various tasks to support the welding process and ensure smooth operations in our facility.

Responsibilities

- Cutting, grinding and preparing parts

- Hold and supply materials or tools to welders during the welding process

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements

- Help with rigging and moving materials as needed

- Conduct basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities

- Operate power tools and other equipment under supervision

Requirements

- Ability to build and assemble components according to specifications

- Familiarity with the fabrication processes is a plus

- Proficiency in blueprint reading for welding projects

- Knowledge of Stick, Mig and Flux-Core techniques is advantageous

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Experience with shop equipment and measuring tools is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
