Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. This role requires proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
•
Operate welding equipment including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) to join metal parts.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
•
Fabricate ductwork and other metal structures according to specifications and blueprints.
•
Perform plasma cutting for precise cuts on various materials.
•
Build and assemble rig structures as required by project specifications.
•
Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
•
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Operate forklifts as necessary for moving materials around the worksite.
Experience
•
Proven experience as a Welder with a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes.
•
Familiarity with the operation of power tools, hand tools, and welding machinery.
•
Experience in fabricating ductwork or similar projects is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
•
Knowledge of safety standards related to welding operations is essential.
•
Previous experience operating forklifts is a plus.
