Welder/Fabricator

Overview:

We are seeking an apprentice welder and a skilled Welder to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have experience in fabrication, welding and various shop duties to produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications

- Operate hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and welding tasks

- Perform welding operations such as SMAW and FCAW would be an asset

- Installation and site welding of joints and structural components

- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines

Requirements:

- Proven experience in layout, fabrication, welding and general shop duties

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings

- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

- Ability to work with precise measurements and tolerances

- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
