About This Job

Central Tube and Bar has an immediate need for a Welder in our Assembly Division for 2nd Shift. The ideal candidate will have welding and forklift experience in a production-oriented environment.

Requirements:

•

Perform welding duties as required (Furniture welding)

•

Must be able to work safely, be dedicated to performing quality work, and be productive

•

Effectively use measuring devices to ensure accuracy

•

Perform MIG welding and be flexible to us Robotic welders as well

•

Clean all welds

•

Move material using forklift and crane

•

Troubleshoot problems and determine corrective actions

•

Communicate outside of the team and across shifts

•

Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behavior

•

Work scheduled hours including occasional overtime

•

Operate hand tools required for performing job duties

•

Ability to withstand a minimum of 10 hours on a concrete surface.

Qualifications:

•

High School Diploma or GED.

•

Technical training and/or experience in one or more of the following: structural steel welding, MIG welding.

•

Must be able to read blueprints.

•

Must understand all weld processes.
