Metaltech Products, Inc. is currently looking for experienced MIG Welders for our Weekend Shift.

· Pay starting at $18.50/hr base and increases based on years of experience and weld test. Weekend positions also receive $2/hour shift differential.

New hires can reach max pay in as little as 12 months of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds infrequently.

- Demonstrate ability to use metric and standard tape measures, calipers and various gages.

- Demonstrate ability to convert metric to inches and inches to metric.

- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist and move freely in the performance of job.

- Ability to work overtime as required.

- Graduate of formal welding program (preferred, but not required).

- Certified welder (preferred, but not required).

- One year previous welding experience (preferred).

- Ability to learn and understand weld symbols and perform welds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Demonstrate ability to work in a safe manner, proper use of safety equipment including safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs and gloves. Maintain a clean, organized work area.

- Ability to read weld symbols and perform proper weld.

- Insure parts match print prior to welding.

- Use jigs, fixtures to place parts for welding. Weld parts together. Clean slag, spatter and rust off using various grinding equipment.

- Check parts for dimensional errors.

- Visually check all welds.

- Must provide personal welding helmet.

- Perform other duties as assigned

- Finish grind parts in preparation for paint

Metaltech Operation hours:

1st shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm

Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm
