Weekend Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Delta, OH location as a Weekend Maintenance Technician.

This Position is a Weekend Shift position. The hours would be…

· Friday – 6:30am to 3pm

· Saturday – 6:30am to 7pm

· Sunday – 6:30am to 7pm.

A total of 32 hours worked but will be paid for 40hours. Anything worked over 32 hours will be paid at time and a half.

The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a manufacturing/distribution environment are highly preferred.

Position Summary

A Maintenance Technician performs a variety of duties as specified by the company. Maintenance Technicians maintain and repair buildings and equipment, where their duties may include but are not limited to, electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. A Maintenance Technician’s typical duties can vary from day to day.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- · Foster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.

- Provide support to the maintenance and operations team to achieve the goals and objectives for quality, productivity while providing ideas for continuous improvement

- Supporting the maintenance team and operations in resolving problems

- Performing and instructing operations in equipment start-up procedures and machine operation

- Ensuring production equipment operates efficiently by monitoring and performing equipment maintenance daily

- Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance inspections

- Responsible for ensuring effective reporting and handoff of information between shifts on issues affecting the safe and efficient operations of the facility

- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician such as repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors other building fixtures

- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities

Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

- · A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (such as a GED).

- · Technical/Vocational Training highly preferred.

Experience

- · Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting preferred.

- · Experience in executing mechanical related activity/machine maintenance.

- · Experience in using various computer programs such as MS Office Suite a plus.

- · Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of the business.

- · Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

- · Strong attention to detail; process oriented, with excellent judgement skills are essential.

- · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- · Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently along with the ability to think strategically and creatively.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to consistently lift 50lbs multiple times within a shift.

· Ability to performance physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, pushing, pulling, and handling various materials.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
