Water Well Driller Assistant

Job Overview

Toy Drilling, LLC is a 4th generation Water Well drilling company out of Distant, PA . We are a growing business seeking to hire a punctual, dedicated and hard working individual to join our team.

Duties

- Provide Assistant to the lead drilling operator on rigs and associated equipment

- Handling of drilling materials

- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including depth, and other relevant data.

- Adhere to OSHA and MSHA regulations and company safety policies to promote a safe working environment.

- Operate water trucks and tankers as needed for site operations.

- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs when necessary.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or the equivalent to one

- Valid Drivers License

- Drilling experience preferred (Will train where needed)

- Valid Class A CDL for transportation of materials to job sites.

- The ability to lift 75-100 pounds

- Willingness to learn constantly and quickly

- Ability to follow all directions given

- Strong mechanical knowledge for effective troubleshooting of drilling equipment.

- Ability to dig trenches or holes as required for drilling operations.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

Additional Details

- Normal shifts are 8-10 hours a day; Monday-Friday

- We work year-round in various climate conditions

- All employees will start with a 90-day orientation period

- Pay will be determined by the owner based on qualifications and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
