Water/Wastewater Treatment Project Manager, PA

Join a leading engineering consulting firm as a Civil Engineer and Water/Wastewater Treatment Project Manager! Take the lead on impactful infrastructure projects that shape water treatment and distribution systems for both public and private sectors. Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
•
Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
•
Manage the design and implementation of wastewater collection and treatment systems, as well as drinking water distribution and treatment infrastructure.
•
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
•
Supervise and coordinate project teams, delegating tasks effectively to maximize efficiency.
•
Monitor project progress, addressing challenges proactively to keep projects on track.
•
Assist clients in contractor selection, oversee contract execution, and manage change orders as necessary.
•
Prepare and present technical reports, project proposals, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
•
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
•
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
•
Support business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client outreach efforts.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biological Engineering.
•
PE license in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within one year.
•
5+ years of experience in water/wastewater design or project management.
•
Knowledge of water/wastewater regulatory requirements.
•
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
•
Experience mentoring junior staff.
•
Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality.
•
Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via Teams or in person.
