Water & Wastewater Operator Trainee

Position: Entry-Level Utility Operator (Trainee)

Location: Town of Round Hill, Virginia

Service Area: Public Water & Sewer System for 4,000+ residents across 1,850 homes

Reports To: Utility Supervisor

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (some weekend shifts, holidays, and emergency calls expected)

The Town of Round Hill, Virginia, located in Loudoun County, is about 20 minutes from Leesburg, VA; 45 minutes from Frederick, MD; and 30 minutes from both Winchester, VA and Charles Town, WV.

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Entry-Level Utility Operator (Trainee) to join our growing utility team. No prior water or wastewater operations experience is required—but we’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in any of the following:

· science,

· math,

· technical work

· lab experience,

· environmental science,

· mechanical systems.

You’ll be trained on-the-job by experienced operators to help maintain and operate Round Hill’s public water and sewer system, including 12 public wells, 4 treatment plants, and over 30 miles of water and sewer lines.
