•This Inventory Analyst position is responsible for supporting the Kearny Mesa Warehouse’s material management processes and interface points with Solar Turbines and its Suppliers. The position supports the inventory requirements for the Power Generation, Oil and Gas, Turbomachinery and Customer Services organizations. The Kearny Mesa warehouse manages over $210M in inventory in both the Baan and LN ERP systems.
•The role collaborates with business partners in Solar’s various other warehouses, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Shipping and Engineering to identify, minimize and or eliminate issues impacting the timely inventory availability in support of business requirements. Additional duties include effective inventory analysis and reconciliation of purchase order receipts, management of cycle count and inventory management activities. Including but limited to metrics creation and analysis and leading and participating in Continuous Improvement projects to improve material availability and PQCP.
Minimum Qualifications:
•A BA or BS degree, or 1-3 years of relevant materials management experience using Baan ERP.
•Basic knowledge of Turbomachinery components and manufacturing processes
•Thorough understanding of Baan material visibility and management information
•Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and information management
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively across various groups
•Ability to work in a face-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
•Knowledge of Material & Production Planning fundamentals
•LEAN Training and process execution experience
Summary Pay Range:
$76,542.00 - $114,814.00
